Cricket Australia has recently revealed the schedule for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL). The tournament will feature a new style of final series, consisting of forty league matches and four crucial playoff matches.

The action-packed BBL season will commence on December 7, with a match between last year’s finalists, Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars, taking place in Brisbane.

The highly-anticipated final series will kick off on January 19, featuring the top two teams from the league stage. These teams will battle it out in the qualifiers, with the victorious team securing a spot in the finals.

On January 20, a knockout match will be held between the third and fourth placed teams. The winner of this intense clash will proceed to the next stage of the final series.

January 22 will witness the Challenger match, wherein the team that lost in the qualifier will face off against the winner of the knockout match. The victor of this encounter will secure a spot in the final showdown.

The ultimate culmination of the BBL season will take place on January 24, with the final match between the winner of the qualifier and the triumphant team from the Challenger match.
