Hattian Bala, August 11, 2023 – An important meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Valley, Syed Fida Hussain Kazmi, to discuss the upcoming celebrations for Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14th. During the meeting, consensus was reached on the grand celebrations planned for Independence Day. The occasion will be marked with fervor and patriotism as both the flags of Kashmir and Pakistan will adorn government buildings across the district. The epicenter of the celebrations will be in Hattian Bala, where the headquarters will be established. The celebrations will commence with a siren at 8:52 AM, serving as a poignant reminder of the significance of the day. The highlight of the day will be an Independence Day rally, which will journey from Kaninan to the Chakothi Line of Control, symbolizing the unity and dedication of the people to their nation.

Deputy Commissioner Syed Fida Hussain Kazmi, speaking during the meeting, emphasized the importance of Pakistan as a precious gift from Allah. Apart from overseeing security during the main event at the district headquarters, they will also provide security for the rally from Kaninan to Chakothi, ensuring that the day proceeds smoothly and safely.
