Lahore: Jahangir Tareen, a former leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced his decision to establish a new political party at the national level. According to reliable sources, Tareen himself will assume the role of the Patron Chief of the newly formed party.

Reports suggest that Jahangir Tareen has been actively engaging with influential leaders from Karachi, Inner Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, in an effort to gather support for his new venture. Furthermore, it is expected that several dissatisfied members of PTI, including political families from DG Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Wahari, Lodhran, and Multan, might join Tareen’s party.

Earlier this month, news emerged that Jahangir Tareen had set up a base in Lahore and had been holding meetings with various PTI leaders. Additionally, sources have claimed that a forward bloc within Tehreek-e-Insaf might soon come forward, indicating a potential split within the ruling party.

The formation of Jahangir Tareen’s new political party and the subsequent support it receives from disenchanted PTI members could potentially impact the political landscape in the coming months. The dynamics of this new party, including its official name and the appointment of key positions, including the head, are yet to be formally announced.
