The digital platform offers a user-friendly experience, ensuring a hassle-free application process from the comfort of one’s home.
Expanded Services for Overseas Applicants
Overseas Pakistanis will particularly benefit from the extended services offered through the Online MRP Web Portal. The portal facilitates all kinds of renewal services, including reprinting for damaged passports, applying for a new passport for newborns, reissuing lost passports, renewing exhausted passports, and making partial modifications for newly married female applicants.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to gather the following documents before initiating the online application process:
- A recent photograph, not exceeding 5MB in size.
- A filled Fingerprint form.
- Supporting documents (varying based on age and category).
- A valid credit card for online payment.
Step-by-Step Online Application Process
The online application process is straightforward, allowing applicants to renew their passports efficiently. Here are the steps to follow:
- Click on the ‘Get Started’ button.
- Register an account using an email address and receive an SMS code. Overseas applicants will receive the code via email.
- Fill in the MRP application form.
- Provide a delivery address for the passport.
- Make the required fee payment using a valid credit/debit card (Visa/Master).
- Enter personal details and both present and permanent addresses.
- Upload a recent photograph meeting the specified requirements.
- Attach all necessary supporting documents.
- Download the form and capture the four required fingerprints with a scanner set at 600 DPI, in JPEG/JPG format and Grayscale.
- Review all provided information and submit the application.
It is crucial to note that there is a strict no-refund policy for online applications. Additionally, users registered in the Pak-identity system can log in directly using their existing username and password.
