Prime Minister of Pakistan meets with Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister’s delegation

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif met with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, and his delegation in Islamabad.

Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq on assuming the responsibility of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir through constitutional and democratic means.

During the meeting with the delegation led by Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, he said that the government of Pakistan will cooperate in every possible way for the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He also assured that the issues related to the development funds of Azad Kashmir will be resolved soon.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that Pakistan stands with the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for self-determination and the government will continue to provide moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris for their right to self-determination.

He added that India cannot suppress the voice of Kashmiris with its illegal actions, and the international community, including the United Nations, should take notice of India’s violation of human rights in Kashmir.

The Pakistani nation will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for freedom.

The delegation included former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan, President of PML-N Azad Kashmir Shah Ghulam Qadir, President of PPP Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Chaudhry Latif, government ministers Colonel Waqar Noor, and Faisal Rathore.

During the meeting, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication, Dr. Shahbaz Gill, were also present.
