YouTube has hosted its first YouTube Brand Cast in Pakistan.

The purpose of the brand casting was to celebrate YouTube’s community of creators and share the latest information, updates, and inspiration from brands that are succeeding on the platform.

 The Brandcast also highlighted how YouTube is supporting an ecosystem of Pakistani creators through a trusted, multi-platform platform that enables them to build local and global communities. It also enables to meet of the evolving needs of the audience.

YouTube is the most popular online video platform in Pakistan, according to a study published by Google and Kantaraki titled “Unlocking Digital in Rural Pakistan”.

 According to the report, 62 percent of online Pakistanis aged 18-24 years said that they watch YouTube at least once or more a month.

According to the survey, 91 percent of Pakistani Internet users feel positive when they watch YouTube, while 78 percent of Internet users say they use YouTube when they want to watch their favorite shows and content.

Among the survey participants, 76 percent of Internet users said that YouTube helped them learn something new, and 75 percent claimed that the platform has content that furthers those interests, while 73 percent According to his opinion, YouTube has content of all kinds of moods.

The study also revealed that 48 percent of Pakistanis are now online, of which 78 percent also watch YouTube. 76 percent of YouTube viewers said that YouTube has unique content that cannot be found anywhere else.

In Pakistan, the total time of content uploaded to YouTube by channels from June 2021 to May 2022 increased by more than 25 percent, compared to the same period last year. It has reiterated its importance as a place that is important for Pakistanis to connect with and have fun.
